I was born and raised in Erie, Pennsylvania (hence the picture below of me performing a wedding ceremony in a blizzard) and lived in Hillsboro, Oregon; Elizabeth, New Jersey and settled in Maryland in 1988.
In 1998, I began a very intensive course of studies at the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center and graduated in 2001. In 2002, I was accepted into the Ministeral Program at the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center and was ordained a Minister of Spiritual Science in May of 2002.
Concurrently to my studies at the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center, I was also a teacher at the Silentlight International School of Spiritual Science. After ordination, I became a 2nd and 4th year teacher at the Baltimore Spiritual Science Center. I also became the facilitator of the Silent Light Spiritual Science Center and The Maryland Spiritual Science Center.
In 2018, I became a Trustee on the Board of Directors of The Spiritual Science Mother Church, based in New York City.
In June of 2002, I performed my first wedding ceremony and have never looked back. Each ceremony has been a joy to perform, and each and every couple that I had the honor to unite in marriage was a joy to work with.
When I initially meet with a couple, I warn them that I have a sense of humor and like to have fun. Seriousness has a time and place, and the day of the ceremony, I am all business. This does not mean however that fun cannot be had during the planning process of the ceremony. When meeting with couples and performing ceremonies stops being enjoyable, it is then time to discontinue doing them.
